What I actually missed the most from Indonesia is the people. That is why I spent the first couple days having reunion with my friends. I realized that I might have a healthy OCD cuz on top of having a super organized baggage, I somewhat arrange the reunion chronologically. I met with elementary/middle school friends first, then high school friends.
Meeting my childhood friends was like entering into a time machine. Even though our age is almost a quarter of a century, we refuse to grow up! Alright, we might reshaped our eyebrows and learned to put on make up, other might start losing their hair while the other are getting married in a couple months, but we stay true to our self!
Started in 4th grade, I used to have three besties and we called our self 4US later on. The name came from wanting to be there for each other and doing everything together. We were like the three musketeers, the trouble makers but also the high achievers. We ran the student council and stand up for justice (read: kicking the ass of boys who act like know it all).
4US back in 2002
Unfortunately, one of the personnel (who actually end up studying law and truly fighting for justice) is out of the country to pursue a master degree. I'm sad for not being able to meet you sooner but I'm so proud of you sista~
In 2013 still cute as ever
Beside having 4US that keep me straight throughout middle school, I also made friends with a group of 4 guys who called them self X4. For my reader from Asia, I am pretty sure you guys are familiar with F4 from "Meteor Garden", that's pretty much sums up how X4 act.
X4 likes to think that their group consisted of the most handsome four fellows in our school. While in fact it made out of four narcissistic jokesters. X4 walked around like they are a big shot, giving people the red card with "you'll be dead" written on it. But don't get me wrong, they have a heart of hello kitty and they wouldn't seriously threaten anyone...I had such a jolly childhood thanks to these people.
My trip back home actually put X4 together for the first time since middle school! I was happy that the only thing had change is that they are now have deeper pockets. I wish I had time to actually make them pay for all the homework that I did for them hahah.
We had a dinner at my friend's restaurant in Living World Mall. My friends and his soon-to-be-fiance girlfriend opened up this Indonesian restaurant called "Kemenangan", which translated into "Victory". If any of you are living in Indonesia or ever travel to Indonesia, you should definitely check it out, the restaurant is located at the food court, they had a super delicious chicken intestine <3

I thank God for placing these awesome people in my life. There were time when we fought, but we always learn to made up. 4US more specifically, had become my sisters that shaped me as who I am now (the hardcore student and party animal lol). These girls have hearts of gold and brilliant minds. Even back in middle school, we used to care enough to celebrate our birthdays at orphanage. If it wasn't because of them, I probably would never have the passion to serve for the less fortunate as I do now.
Wth, now this post sounds more like a love letter than a travelling blog... I shall end it here! hahahah
Until the next adventure you all...Vagabond girl is out.
